I don't own one but a friend of mine has one. First gen's trigger was kind of tough but 2nd gen suppose to be lighter. And the company was run by good gun folks. When my friend stop by their factory for its heavy trigger. They take the gun in and upgrade with all the 2nd gen spring's and trigger. While the gun smith work on the gun, they give my friend a tour around the factory.

I shot couple time before all the upgrade. It wasn't bad, but I'm not a fan of DAO. Long and heavy trigger. Designer most have conceal carry in mind. All corners were dehorned and snag free. It has a good feel in the hand, size is similar to G19. Take down the same way as a Glock. I personally will take this over a Sigma or SR9.

I am very interested in this FMK. It would be nice to hear from a Glock or M&P owner to get an idea on how it stacks up?

Gen 4 Glock 17's are over $700 in Canada. They are also not in stock almost everywhere. M&P pros are maybe $850.

So FMK's are on their way here for $500 and it would be very nice to hear they are good, reliable, long life span, accurate, shooters. There are engineering aspects to polymer handguns that are different than what a lot of people are used to. Is there anywhere to find out you can recommend, if this highroad discussion peters out?

I know this post is really old but I still felt I should contribute. I am a Glock and M&P armorer and had the chance to go over and shoot a customer's FMK pistol. He had me do the initial test fire for him. I was skeptical at first not knowing anything about the company. The first thing that struck me were the ergonomics. The gun felt like an extension of my hand. I took it back to the gunsmith room and field stripped it for a closer inspection. I couldn't find anything wrong with the inside. Everything was polished and finished the way it should be. I lubed it up after removing the factory oil and went into the range for a test fire. I set the target at 9 feet for my initial test fire. I put five rounds into a 1/2" circle and was completely surprised at how well it shot for being a budget gun. I sent the target out to 50 feet and finished up the magazine holding all the rounds in a 5" circle. I didn't feel like I had to fight the gun to be accurate. No failures whatsoever. The trigger was smooth enough to be accurate with. The ergonomics and accuracy of the gun really made me think differently about it. I would be interested to hear from some pistol instructors on how well the gun holds up in a class.
