Does anyone have any experience/comments regarding FN's new Hi-Power DAOc. Well, they call it a HP anyway, and since they make Hi-Powers, I guess they should know what one is! Anyway, just curious as to the quality/reliability/shootability of the piece. Thanks

Hello,

I have the DAc, a triditional DA/SA with a decocking lever.
The little gun is a quality piece ( if it's FN it's world class). The double action trigger is hard and lifts a blocking piece that protects the firing pin before the hammer falls, so there is a lot going on. While the single action trigger smoothed out and improved nicely after 500 + or - rounds the double action remained long and hard. I like this gun a lot for accuracy, finish, size and single action trigger; the double action IS the guns safety and it is a long, hard pull.

Of course that is just my opinion, I could be wrong.

After having one for a while, Ill 2nd every word Flinch says. The guns a stellar pc., typical FN in every way. But mine stacked through the roof before the trigger let go. My SA was still pretty bad also. Real bummer, if FN could have simplified the FPB mechanism..they would have had a real sweety on their hands...............

Shoot well.
