I recently picked up an FNP9 and was wondering if anyone else out there has one. I have been impressed with it so far, light, accurate, and functions flawlessly. Any thoughts?

I've got the Browning Pro-9 and Pro-40. Basicly the same guns. FN makes them for Browning.

So far, I've been very happy with them. The Pro-9 has a much better trigger than the Pro-40.

Got the FNP40 w/NS a couple of months ago. In my opinion it is a great pistol. About 500 rounds down range and not one problem encountered. Put the XD45ACP back in the safe and use the FNP40 with M6X as a night stand piece now. Like it as well or better than my Sig 229-40. Looking forward to the arrival of the FNP45ACP.

For $350 a pop, The FNP-9 is awesome! I picked up the .40 for the same price the other night. The 9 is light and crisp.

It's probably my favorite DA/SA pistol. It performs as good or better than the HK's that I've owned in the past at about half the price. Reliabilitie has been great. It has a light recoil and is very accurate. I am surpised that they don't cost more than they do.

When they come out in the .45 ACP, I'll be standing in line for one.

Just wondered what others thought as I am very pleased with mine. Keep the replies coming.

Alan Fud - I should have included the Pro9 and Pro40. They are made in the same factory by FN.

Markh - I'm looking at the FNP45 as well when they come out.

If I didn't already have 6 polymer guns, I'd probably buy one. Seems like a very nice gun, especially for the $.

Quick update:

I qualified with my FNP-9 about two weeks ago and shot my best ever. I usually shoot a glock and was surprised that I did so well with the DA/SA pistol. Still no malfunctions in about 700-800 rounds.

When I passed the 900 round milestone with my FNP-9 the trigger got a lot smoother all of a sudden. The gun is nearly as good as an HK or my new Sig. ( I said "nearly" so no one jump down my throat)
