I picked one of these up a few months back and just shot it for the first time last week. I don't have a lot of time to go over all of the details, but I really like the gun. More accurate than I can shoot, and seemed reliable out of the box.

Anyone considering buying a polymer pistol should at least check one out as I think FN has a pistol that going to achieve some traction in civilian and LEA markets. It does have extremely aggressive checkering and probably would not be comfortable for an extended range session. It would be good however for a solid grip with sweaty hands.

I am glad I bought it.

I have one, excellent gun, excellent accuracy. The tip broke off my striker after 130 rounds, I suspect it was defective from the factory as it would have a terrible trigger pull every third or fourth shot. Anyway FN fixed it with no hassle and it's had 730 flawless rounds through it since then. Trigger is pretty nice for a striker fired gun. The gun is actually the size of my Glock 19 with a slightly longer grip (17 rounds vs the Glocks 15). The grip fits my hand better than any other 9mm I own. I really like the grip texture and I usually shoot 100 to 150 rounds per range session with no discomfort. Mine came with the excellent night sights. High front sight and deep V cut on the rear sight. Mine also came with the thumb safety which I like. Slide release, mag release and thumb safety are all ambi. There is a model available now that doesn't have the thumb safety.

Hi Armedleprechaun, Mine actually did not come with night sites. I might have some installed downstream.

I've got the .40 version, and it's probably my favorite polymer pistol that I own. It really tames the snappy round so that you are left with a very fast, very accurate, and very comfortable pistol to shoot.
