I have a FO sight on a Baer that I was thinking of changing to a Gold/Brass bead. I wondered if anyone had ever tried inserting a gold/brass rod the same size as the FO. In this case I believe it is .060. Just wondering because then one sight could work for both.
I have both FO and bead's on other 1911's but then they are used only for certain times. Example: In low light the bead works great, but not so good in bright light and vise verse with the FO.
Thought I would ask before I try playing around with wifee's earrings.
