Fobus holster question

I have been looking at the Fobus Self Locking Holsters. I have a couple questions:
1) Should I get a Paddle or Belt Slide holster?
2) Should I get a rotating/ROTO (so I can switch between cross-draw, small-of-the-back, and strong-side carries) or fixed holster?

Any tips and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

BTW I want to purchase 2. 1 for my Beretta 92G and the other for my CZ SP-01 Tactical.

I bought a Fobus paddle holster last year for a K frame. bought it real cheap on Ebay.

It stuck out way to far, making a large, rather obvious bump under a shirt or jacket.

Took all of one day to decide tupperware holsters were not for me.

I have both belt slide and paddle Fobus's that I used for my Glocks. Liked them both for different reasons as the paddle was easy to don and remove if going in or out of a non CCW place. I used the belt slide when in the bush or hunting. I liked them both still have them even though the Glocks are long gone in favor of all my 1911's.

Get one belt holster, put it where you want it, and leave it there.
Then practice with it until it becomes automatic to find the gun in the same exact place every time you draw it.

Moving a holster around all over your belt is a recipe for disaster in a SHTF situation.
Because you will have to stop and think an instant where you put it the last time.

rc is right. find your angle and leave it there. Note* some fobus holsters can give serious wear to even glock finishes. Check out a serpa instead, it has a much better locking system.

IMHO, you should look strongly at other holsters before settling for any Fobus product. There are other kydex/plastic holsters out there that are far better in quality and much longer lasting. I have had 3 bad experiences with Fobus holsters and will NEVER have another one, no matter how attractive the price is.

My 5 cents :

Fobus Holsters are the only ones those survived Israeli Security Agency/Shin Bet testing in "quality for money value" terms. One of 2 models officially issued is Fobus Paddle GL2 holster. The Agency has no problems to buy any
gear for the field agents and security officers.

Its a good holster for open/duty carry, the plastic just may look cheap, but
eventually its much stronger and can get more abuse then traditional "Kydex". Why ? Just because its more flexible.

Just don't expect from it to be something "extraordinary" for 20$.
It will do the job, and the job only.

PS : Another sample of good duty holster is RSR Defense Holsters - very durable polymer, made by another Israeli company FAB Defense .
