Came home this afternoon (live in a townhome) to find a large box truck sitting outside the row of houses, occupied times two. Went inside, watched the two occupants for a few minutes. They were pointing at houses. After they didn't do anything for a few minutes I went out to my car and got something. I then approached the truck and politely asked if they needed help finding an address. The response from the two occupants was alarming. Both responded with a hint of nervousness in their tone of voice. The driver responded that he had to call his boss and picked up a cell phone. The passenger then stated that they had just made a delivery. There just was not something right. The truck box had shadows of old, scraped off markings of a company and a few letters on the driver's side cab door. The passenger door had no markings. But here's the topper that made me really suspicious...no license plate! I came in the house to call the police, but then the truck started up and left.

I'm fairly new to CCW, but have been practicing situational awareness. I think here it paid off. Thanks to all here who I've learned from reading your posts!

I hope that you still called the police even though it left. It definitely smacks of criminal behavior. What kind of company would have a truck with no license plates?!

The best way to stop crime is to stop the BGs before they do anything.

Good Job, and Welcome to The High Road. Be sure and read the Library for lots of good information for new users.
