In the effort to focus the American Public's attention on the cause of school shootings (in this way I hope to take the emotional ammo out of gun grabbers arsenal to use against the 2nd Amendment) I am looking into the companies that produce the drugs.

What I am having no luck finding is whom holds stock in said company.

Is there anyone in here savy in the world of stocks and investing that can share methods for finding out who holds stock in a specific company?

I am interested in Eli Lilly.

Corporations are only required to disclose the holdings of corporate officers, board members. Investors are required to notify the SEC is the acquire more than 5% of the shares of a company (though there are exceptions to that rule as far as timing, etc).

If you're looking for politicians, some will have to disclose information as part of their positions (Congressmen and Senators for instance), but the disclosures are usually pretty vague.

That's the wall I've come against in my search so far, still looking for a way to find the info but I'm new to this.
