Follow up Range Report Kahr P380

A few weeks ago, I reported that both magazines on my new Kahr P380 failed (backs broke away from side plates) during my first use of the gun. Well, I received my replacement magazines and returned to the range today. I put 25 Hornaday 90 grain critical defense JHP, 20 Federal Hydra-Shok 90 grain JHP, 100 WWB, and 50 Fiocchi 95 grain through her. The gun performed flawlessly on all except the Fiocchi. I experienced one Fail to eject, and 3 fail to feed. I guess she just doesn't like the fiocchi. Inspected new magazines at the end of the session and they held up fine. Great gun for close range use, but I had difficulty maintaing tight groupings beyond 15 feet. While I hit the torso of the target with out a problem the shots were more widely spread than I like. Probably me as my hads are large for such a small pistol. All in all I am very happy with the gun, and Kahr's customer service.

Ihave never shot fiochhi ammo in any handgun, never seen it around my area and it wa snoever piced where I felt it was a barggaina to punch paper with, so I do think it is good ammo but it wouldnot worry me one bit either.

fear not my groups with my lcp are no better but ur distance is about right for defense shooting. Karh triggers although smooth as glass are loooooong...
