"Blame America?" That's the bandwagon for me!

Massey's claims have gained him celebrity. Last month, Massey's book, "Kill, Kill, Kill," was released in France. His allegations have been reported in nationwide publications such as Vanity Fair and USA Today, as well as numerous broadcast reports. Earlier this year, he joined the anti-war bus tour of Cindy Sheehan, and he's spoken at Cornell and Syracuse universities, among others.

News organizations worldwide published or broadcast Massey's claims without any corroboration and in most cases without investigation. Outside of the Marines, almost no one has seriously questioned whether Massey, a 12-year veteran who was honorably discharged, was telling the truth.

Please guys. I am in awe that the Socialist St. Louis Bejing Dispatch actually posted this. My dad phoned me on it, and I had to read the story (actually went on to their website, which I had sworn off of).

This Marine is off the reservation, and he is working with Komrade Kindy. He has obviously lied and slandered his brothers and the Corp. Time wounds all heels...

I think he is also the guy who started "Iraqi Vets Aganist the War".. Sound like anyone else you know??????????? Remember the Lies, Remember the Lies.

you forgot the next two paragraphs:

Outside of the Marines, almost no one has seriously questioned whether Massey, a 12-year veteran who was honorably discharged, was telling the truth.

He wasn't.

Each of his claims is either demonstrably false or exaggerated - according to his fellow Marines, Massey's own admissions, and the five journalists who were embedded with Massey's unit, including a reporter and photographer from the Post-Dispatch and reporters from The Associated Press and The Wall Street Journal.

My recruiter was named James (Jim) Massey but thankfully not the same idiot. Weird, huh?

Greg

Last night, I heard the tail-end of a radio news broadcast that said that Massey had been "outed" as NEVER having been in the Marine Corps! Don't know if that's true or not, but I wouldn't doubt it!
There are a LOT of "wannabee's"! I've "outed" a few of them, myself! The most recent was some guy who claimed to have been in the Army "Special Forces Airborne Rangers" (?) It turned out that he had been a clerk/typist in the U.S. Army!
