It was a beautiful day to drive over to Fort Worth.
It was wacky trying to find parking about noon--but it always is.
Show not as crowded as the parking. Some of the dealer I talked yo were saying it was more lookie-lous at lunch than earlier in the morning.
Prices on ammo wer not much to write home about, although ammo was moving.
Magazines were available at some pretty good prices, though. Or, in my case "good enough." $15 for GenIII is not the best price you can get on the 'net, but, I did not pay shipping & handling.
Saw a National Postal Meter Carbine for only $900; there was a Rockola (probably new production) for $950. Saw a pair of KelTec RDB in 5.56 for only $899. Also saw a private sale Colt LWT Commander for $800 which got me thinking, but it as gone by the time I circulated back to it. C'est la vie.
Stopped by Jose's table and left with three 6x50 Maduro hand-rolled cigars for only $20--which may be my best score in weeks.
