A happy accident at the range shooting my SU16 today. I generally stay away from moly coated bullets, but I had a senior moment in Gander Mt. a few weeks ago and picked up two boxes of BLack Hills 52 gr. HP Moly, meant to get the regular 52 gr. HP. So today I decided to go ahead and shoot up some of the moly coated loads.

Any way, the SU has been a consistant 2.25-2.5" gun ( 5 shot groups) at 100 yards with the Black Hills 52 gr. Match HP load, this is with a 1.5-4.5 scope mounted. The first group of the moly coated was ten rounds in 1.8" c-c. I shot a couple of more 5 shot groups with the best at 1.2" and the worst 1.6". I know that's not match grade AR accurate, but for an SU it's pretty darn good. Guess I'll have to learn to live with the moly coated bullets.
