That Tattoo.... All I could think of is the guy is walking around in public without a shirt..... A cop sees briefly what he thought was a gun from a distance. The does not think anything of it and turns around. The cop lives in a non carry state. Draws his weapon and holds at a low ready. Tells the guy to freeze. The guy not paying attention turns around with his hand on his hips or belt and maybe the hand moves toward the tattoo. The Cop beliefs he is in danger and takes the guy down with a shot.

I'm no cop but, Looking at it from the about perspective, it could be a justifiable shooting....

For those that did not see the picture, it is a 1911 tattoo tucked in the pants at belt level around the navel. You do not see the trigger on down....
