Found some discontinued bullets... Ultramax 200 gr. .41 MAGNUM (not long colt)

anyone happen to know the specs on these, was given a box of them and by the price ($9.95 for 20) I'm guessing they're fairly old. Can't find any info on them online, all I see is for the .41 long colt.

Just curious is all, it's only one box, so figure I'll fire a few and see where they hit and keep them for spares, of course knowing my luck, these would be the perfect bullet for my gun and I can't get them anymore :banghead:

THE 41MAG is a common cartridge for large bore big frame sixguns.
WE ASSUME you're speaking of cartridges, NOT bullets which are projectiles.
WHY do you assume they're discontinued ?

I know what a .41 mag is, I have one I assume they are discontinued because I cannot find anything about them online.

For what it is worth. I have used a number of Ultramax loadings and they have all been very good. Especially, their .308's... best groups out of my Savage 11.

If they are from Ultramax, they will have a UPC code on the box from them. You can contact them and ask about the products and give them that number to search their records with, or for that matter any of the other info on the box. They should be able to provide you with all the info. They might not give you specific components like the particular powder or charge but should be able to give you the velocity, date of manufacture and such on them.

thanks for the info guys! sorry I wasn't on this thread more often, been working the farm... I might do that, if I can remember to during normal business hours I'll give 'em a call and report back... it's the remembering thing that gets me hehe
