The rifle range is out to 600 or so yards with plans to go to 1000. The guys who work there are great too.

Very nice range. Decent weather (I love Florida :p ) Nice RO helped me out since it was my first time n I was the first to arrive. Had me a bit worried :uhoh: Got comfortable fairly quickly, once fellow High Roaders showed up. :) Newguy1- you're in Tampa? Wanna join us next time? Maybe you know of a better place?

    :what: 100 rounds :what:

    My load out for last weekend (5 adults 7 kids (all homeschooled interestingly enough)) for the 5 that came with me was 3k .22, 400 .38, 300 9mm, 200 .45, 1k 7.62x39, 440 7.62x54, 125 12 ga., 200 20 ga.

    I think I came home with 2k .22, 100 .38, 50 9mm, 100 .45, 900 7.62x39, 200 7.62x54 & 25 12 ga. Anyway you count it though, we sent a bunch of lead downrange :D .

It is far better to drag too much with you than to run out there.

Looks like lots of fun, one of these days I want to play with a 416  .

Well, I had no idea I'd go through it that fast! Bought box of 100 for the trip, had box of 50 already. Used it all up! We were there for about 4 hrs. I took a few breaks, checked out what others were shootin'. Learned I really want one of those rifles! The .22 that is, I think the M-1 woulda knocked me into last week! :D Jeff posted photo on Florida Shoot thread. I don't know how to do a thread link yet. (Guess I should learn that too.) Just havin' more fun learnin' gun stuff than computer stuff! :p

My wife went through 7 boxes of 22LR with some help from Lil'38. I put 120 30'06 down range with my M1 and M1903A3. Happiness is a bruised shoulder. I'm all ready for the next FLA Frukus. :)
