Fox Labs - Where to Buy?

Hello Everyone,

Can anyone tell me of a reputable online dealer that you've done business with who stocks and sells the entire Fox Labs line of pepper spray?

I've just had a very negative experience with one retailer and am having to put the entire order into dispute with my credit card company.

who was your negative experience with?

I placed an on-line order over a week ago. No acknowledgement, zero communication, no shipping info, no nothing. I emailed and called (of course, no answer) requesting info.
Got an email this a.m. saying simply "Your order has been shipped." Nothing to indicate when, no info on which shipper, no ETA, no tracking info...

Just wondering if we are dealing with the same vendor here.

Fox Spray

I have used J&L several times. They are always ethical, on time and priced right. They also carry the new long range pepper spray.

I received the product, the price was reasonable, and the selection was good.

However, their communication from beginning to end, to include email shipping/tracking info, email, etc was non-existent.

After several requests for tracking info, the only acknowledgement I received was "Your shipment has been sent." Period. No tracking number, no nothin'.

I may or may not continue to do business with them, and I may or may not recommend them (I will explore other options before reordering, but will give them a chance to get it right).

As a buyer, communication is important to me. I have trusted you with my credit card and my $. If you are a seller, communicate with me, and you will reap the rewards of a positive recommendation and repeat business. Ignore me, and I will go elsewhere. Your choice.

Note--this does not apply to idle inquiries that have made no commitment. But once you have my order and my credit card info, give me some shipping/tracking info. Takes you all of a minute, and restores my confindence in a faceless entity.

Not trashing J&L, but my experience was not all it could have been...

Sorry to hear of your difficulty with J&L. I 've always had good communication with them. The last order was big and I hoped for free shipping but no dice. I get an email from them right after the order is placed. They have to have a tracking number as they ship Fed X ORM-D.

Turn of Events for the Better

Get this!

I called my credit card company last Friday and began the process to dispute the charge for the pepper spray. Lo and behold I get an e-mail Saturday morning that my pepper spray order has shipped!?!?

So I waited.

It arrived yesterday and one of the canisters I ordered was a stream instead of a fogger nozzle. The rest of the order was correct. I'm counting myself lucky and canceling the disputed charge, but I am never doing business with them again.

The irony of the timing on the disputed charge and the shipment going out, the utter silence in response to my e-mails, and the error in the order is just too much for me to take.
