fps difference between lead and PBA?

My brother was looking for an air rifle, for really cheap shooting [and not stuck to gun ranges], and I noticed that many of the boxes state a "fps for PBA pellets" and I was wondering how to determine what it would be for lead.

I have an older Daisy 130A that states a fps of 800. If it had been packaged today, what would the PBA fps have been?

typically adding between 20-30% or 200-300 more FPS to an otherwise 1,000 FPS rifle using lead pellets.

I'm good with my 800 fps rifle. And now I know that there is a bit of exageration when it comes to the marketing on the box. Some people may not necessarily know the difference and think pellets are rocketing out of their rifle at 1200 fps.

And I totally agree with what he was saying about breaking the sound barrier with very light pellets and affecting accuracy.

Velocity is not everything. I used to buy .177's since they were faster and pellets are cheaper but my first .22 showed the power of heavier pellets.
Using an RWS34, 22 caliber will hit starlings hard enough I can hear the pellet strike out at 100 yards.
The PBA pellets can be hard on guns as they let the piston slam home, is like shooting a bow with no arrow.

I definitely will let the PBA pellets pass on by.

I've considered a .22 pellet rifle before. However, since my .177 works well, I'll just keep using it.

Tried them in my RWS and they cracked like a 22.(1170 fps). Accuracy was poor.
