Went dove hunting sat morning, took my older brother - he has never been.
After he got thru visiting (neighbor asked if he was running for mayor:p) we set up about 9:30 - way late in my book.
Found a decent spot, set up the mojo decoys and got a limit.
The Franchi 620 was bought used, I went to shoot it at some clays, but my Do-All thrower fried a motor.
Anyways, the thing worked excellent - went 15 for 19 with a "new" shotgun.
I would highly recommend this model.
I picked this one up off Gun Broker for $400 like new.
Trigger assy is EXACTLY like a beretta (hmmm...) but the recoil spring obviously is the design the Extrema stole.
Recoil was about what I'd expect from this lightweight shotgun, just wish one of the many Beretta recoil pads around here would fit as the hole spacing is longer on the Franchi.
Don't know about the choke tubes - the barrel has "Franchoke" stamped on it, and although the choke looks like a mobilchoke, this one is a Carlson's choke.
Guess I'll have to cross ref the chokes.
Long story short, if you run across one - I'd get it if the price is right.
