Does anyone have any load data for the M-160 108.5 gr frangible projectile in .308/7.62? These can be obtained pretty reasonably, but I cannot seem to find any load data for them. Any help would be greatly appreciated

You could check out the loadings for the 110 plinker and go from there, regarding working up a load :) If you are trying to load specific to your own rifle that is the best road I would think ;)

The standard load for th M160, Cartridge, 7.62mm, Ball, Frangible, was 10.5 grains of SR8074, 8.3 grains of HPC-8 or 11.4 grains of WC140. None of these powders are available as Canister powders, and were only available as Bulk, for industrial/commercial/military loading. You may be able to find some on the surplus market as pulldown powder.

The data is available on page 491 of Barnes' Cartridges of the World, 10th Edition.

Hope this helps.

Fred
