Time to give away another bag of brass. While scrounging at the range, I pick up many calibers that I don't reload.

This time it's approx. 230 .40S&W cases and 31 .45 Colt cases (not ACP). I threw them in the tumbler for about an hour. All of the .45 Colt cases are in great shape. 98% of the .40S&W will polish up nicely, the other 2% you'll have to use your own judgment.

Free to a good home. Any takers?

If the .40s are Speer, I'll take them. No use for .45 LC, though. Thanks!

Range Brass

That's good of you to recycle the used brass to THR members. It was good to see some .45 Colt brass on here. Maybe I'll catch you next time you find some of that caliber.

Regards,

John

Well he said he wanted them if they were Speer. I'm sure a few of them are, but he hasn't contacted me since, so I assume he is no longer interested.

They're yours, Steelslinger. PM your details and I will send them off tomorrow.

I'm really anal about using only one headstamp at a time, and I've got a bunch of Speers now. So I'm not going to contest Steelslinger getting 'em.

Usually, with popular calibers, the headstamps are mixed because they came from several different shooters.

If I find less common brass on a given trip to the range, such as .45 Colt or .340 Weatherby mag, chances are it came from one shooter.

i wish i could get to the range more often! i need more ,357 mag brass, and .38 spl brass..... seems like i usually can find at least alittle in the dumpster and on the ground when i'm there................

Headstamps have never mattered in my pistols, why do you specify a particular brand? Ease of keeping track?
