Do any manufacturers send out free gun catalogues?

By free mean truely free, with no shipping and handling charges.

Sure, Browning, Winchester, Marlin all have easy links to request a catalog. I'm sure there are more with online links or that will send if you call them.

Beretta has a darn nice catalog. Full color, glossy pages and about 3/4" thick. Must cost quite a bit to print those. I'd just poke around on various gun manufacturers websites until you find their catalog request page. If they want you to pay for it, don't sign up. I never do.

If you ask for one from Benelli, you also get Franchi, Stoeger and Uberti's in the same envelope.

Yep, I've got Mossberg's, H&R's, Marlin's, Remington's and Browning. Some via mail, others via gun shops.

Even if they do charge, you can often download a .pdf of the catalog for free.

I know it isn't the same as a good paper copy (you can't take a .pdf into the throne room, for example), but it beats nothing.

A few years ago, I went online and requested a Wilson Combat catalog. I received it in the mail a few days later. The price on the cover was $5.00 but I was never charged and I've received a new one in the mail every year since then :D !

I get lots just for the fun of reading them...

Not all gun catalogues, but..

Brigade Quartermasters

Dillon Precision

Cheaper Than Dirt

Sportsman's Guide (Really, REALLY annoying descriptions of stuff, but they have, like, eight different catalogs that you can flip through)

Cabela's
www.cabelas.com

SIG (I'd kick a kitten for a SIG 550..)
www.sigarms.com

...

I can't think of any more at the moment, but I'll report back when I can.

Thanks, guys.

Have ordered about 7 catalogues. Should arrive in 2-4 weeks.

I can hardly wait.

I also see an assortment at some guns stores. I feel guilty ordering them though for free if I have no intention of buying a gun from the manufacturer.

If you have the room to store them they are a nice reference to have around and some can actually become desireable to collectors in the future.

Definetly get a Beretta catalog. It's more like a book. You can get it through their web site.

Kimber will send you one, IIRC.

If you order the Cabelas Catalog be sure to request the "Reloading and Shooting Supplies" catalog.
