Free Hazmat?

I just picked up 8lbs of H4895 and some ELD-X from Brownells and the Hazmat fee was $0.01. That's close to free.

That was for orders over $200 and the powder came in just under. I also got the shipping free.
 
Brownells has free shipping today, but not free hazmat.
Cabela's has free shipping today, but not free hazmat.
Midsouth has been doing free hazmat if you buy Shooters World powders (I assume it would cover other things if you bought the Shooter World), a couple times lately, last on expired on 12/16 but there may be another soon.
Heard rumors that Shooters World Cleanshot is a lot like AA#2 but haven't tried it.

Love the way AA#2 meters....:)

First stop was the .30cc disc. This disc consistently drops 2.95 grains of AA2. The D032 dropped a perfect 2.95 grains. I tried the .46cc cavity that I use for 9mm. It dropped exactly the same also.

I went to the range with a friend and a chronograph. We ran two sets of ten of each for a total of 40 rounds of 148 grain hbwc in 38 cases with 2.95 grains, 20 with each powder. The results? I got single digit SDs and the funniest part? The first ten the shooters world average velocity was a little higher, by literally about ten fps. The second set of ten? The AA2 was just a touch higher by single digit amount. The end result? I'm convinced they are either the exact same powder or so close the difference is negligible.

I know, I hate all the crap they send too, but sign on to a email list of a few of your favorite powder peddlers and have them call you when it's a good deal. It's hard when one is almost out and needs it now though.

I ended up going with Graf and Sons. Couldn't get free Haz Mat, but they had Accurate No. 2 in stock.
And I got free shipping and a 10% discount.
So not a bad deal.
Now it just the waiting......I ordered it on Monday. Fed Ex is saying Wed. the 27th for delivery.
