There will be a black powder mortar/cannon shoot this coming Saturday, April 30th beginning at 11:00 AM In Atascadero, CA
It's part of the annual five day Rendezvous Black Powder Shoot at the Santa Lucia Sportsmen's Association. http://www.santaluciasportsmen.org/
There's no charge to watch the shoot. Please bring eyes/ears. A folding chair, a bottle of water and sun protection is also a good idea. The club's address is 10400 Santa Clara Rd, Atascadero, CA. This shoot is suitable for just about all ages.
There's just something about experiencing one of these shoots. They're rejuvenating! It's almost as if one cannot believe they are still allowed in CA...
