Ramshot has the same deal on their site (makes sense both are Western Power brands) I got my 3 free issues. Only problem is now my free issues are over, guess I will have to breakdown and subscribe. Darn good marketing ploy.

Small point. It's called Handloader magazine, not Reloader. Excellent resource.

Handloader is the bible as far as I'm concerned. I have every issue from No. 1 up thru the one that came the other day. It was first published in 1967 if I remember right. Best publication periodical on the topic. Worth every cent.

If you want to get a lot of the "marrow" of Handloader, buy the latest version of Ken Waters "Pet Loads." I used to save a lot of the articles (still have a bunch of them), especially Ken's articles, but this has all of them. A veritable platinum mine for reloaders, it is as valuable as any manual I own and more. Don't remember where I got mine, but Amazon has it. Go for it!

For everyone who got the black screen when signing up , as I did too when I tried, go to the ramshot powders website as they are offering the trial their as well, it worked for me!

I dropped Handloader for several reasons, the 2 main ones being:

1. They fired John Barsness then ran a bunch of his articles afterward.

2. Mike Venturino kept writing the same article over an over and over again, only to read them over and over and over again in all the other Peterson rags.

I haven't gotten mine. But then again, I'm one who also got the "black screen" (or an error screen of some type) and didn't attempt to go through Ramshot. So I doubt my request was successful.
