Freebore on .204 TC Venture

Trying to load for this rifle. To get the rounds to fit in the magazine they have to be seated close to .125 off the lands! That is quite a jump isn't it? The bullet wont even seat in the cartridge if I wanted it .020 off the lands and nowhere close to fitting the magazine.

Its possibe to get great accuracy with bullet jump. Seating long with very little bullet shank in the neck can make its own problems.

OAL is 2.200" minimum to 2.260" by SAAMI standards. http://www.saami.org/PubResources/CC_Drawings/Rifle/204%20Ruger.pdf Not ownig one, maybe start with the bullets base (full diameter) at the neck shoulder junction? But the ogive should not be below the case mouth. The ogive starts where the full diameter of the bullet gets smaller in diameter, as you move towards the bullet nose.
