I closed on my house yesterday and spent the night sleeping on the floor holding my AR15 knowing its safe from the clutches of Blago and the Daley machine.

I am now an official Hoosier. Freedom never felt so good.

:neener: Illinois.

oh good for YOU!!!!!!!!! sweet.
I read somewhere that the Blue states are losing population big time and the reds are gaining. AAAHH the free market at work.

GOOD FOR YOU!!

I grew up in Daleyville on the Lake, and let me tell you, the only thing in Chicago's favor is that it makes almost every other place look good by comparison!

I'd like to see Nevada gain another seat or two.

Been the fastest growing state in the nation for several years already...its gotta give us at least a little more say-so.

od,

So many CA liberals moving into Nevada are starting to muddle those waters. Look at Colorado, we are going to lose a few good states if we are not careful.

Good Move!

About sleeping with that AR-15....

Oh, never mind. I moved from Massachewguns to Oklahoma and know the splendor. Savor the moment, my friend. There'll be no silly sexual inuendos on this night.;)

If you want security, buy a gun. If you want longevity, learn how to use it. If you want freedom, carry it. There is nothing worth more than freedom you win for yourself. There is nothing more valuable than the tools of the right that make it possible. B.E.Wood

I just wanted to let you know that ALL of the gun crime here in IL is caused by you SAVAGE well armed Hoosiers!!!!! :barf: :barf:

And if you believe that!!!???

.........good luck in the new place.......I'm sure it's more lightly taxed as well!

I envy you. I am hoping to move to Washington soon and escape to my own little bit of freedom. Its getting rediculous here in the Peoples Republic of Illinois.

Hey, way to go! I did that five years ago and I haven't looked back since (well, except to visit fam, but I always get fake papers first).

It's beautiful here... now, we just gotta figure out what to do with seattle....

Silly people you realize that the people moving out of the blue states and into red states are mostly Democrats. That is why many red states are starting to look more 50/50 in the politics. Remember back in the 1980s, Washington and Oregon where for the most part considered red, then overtime with the influx of Californians they started to became swing states and now they are Democrat strongholds. In New England, Maine and New Hampshire which both where swings states in the 90s and now Maine is considered Democrat while NH is still 50/50. This is what will happen to all rural red states, as their populations grow from the influx of newcomers from larger Democrat states.

I am a Hoosier.

Hey, congrats on becoming a Hoosier. If you are ever in Indianapolis, look me up. We'll go shooting, and then grab a brew at a local speakeasy.

To all who wondered, Demotte, Indiana. Mom lives in Rochester so I am closer to her now.

Just thought I would make sure that the red states stay red.

Speaking of Nevada, what's up with that Senator Harry Reid? He sounds like Barbara Boxer.

Harry Reid is a very odd mix of ideologies.

He holds a lot of power in the Senate and brings a lot of money to Nevada. His gun rights record is not too bad for a Democrat although his stances on other issues really make it hard for me to vote for him. Last time, I did vote for him, but mainly because there were no other candidates I liked. I was too young to vote for John Ensign (our other senator) last time, but I'd probably vote for him again depending on how Carter or Wegner looks in the coming months. I'm not really happy with some of Ensign's voting history though. He may or may not get my vote this time.

He's not as bad as Boxer...not by a long shot.
