The Speed Strip is not compatible with the Galco pouch.
The Galco pouch is truly a 2x2x2 arrangement.

Each concept has its own merit.

Dillon lists a pouch in their catalog that is supposed to be compatible with the Speed Strip.

The 2x2x2 makes it easy to grab two rounds at a time, and without having to grab all six rounds at once.

Way back in the day when I carried a revolver for money, they had us qualify by shooting six, then reloading and shooting two. Its a nostalgia thing with some tactical merit.
Even then, I carried HKS speed-loaders while on duty.
I had a DeSantis 3x3 pouch for off duty.
Still have it as a matter of fact.

Speed strips are good too.
I got a bag full of 'em.

But then, I mostly carry a Glock these days.

I got my first Security-Six when I was 14.
Couldn't afford much ammo in those days.

Super looking leather! I may have to get one for my 2 3/4 inch Security Six, and my 4 inch Service Six....ref reloading, I'm kinda partian to the HKS speed loaders, but can see the merit for the strips.
