he got the DI version not the piston drive. It's a slick looking rifle, came with a case a P-mag, sling. I hadn't heard of the company except for a single posting here so if anyone owns one chime in.

I dont personally have a rifle from them, but just looking at different websites and video's it appears they are well liked by the people who bought them

while i havent gotten a full black rain ordinance rifle, i had a billet lower from them that has treated me well and built a race gun on it. quality is top notch and they look amazing with the slick black teflon coating, though i think they are a tad overpriced for what you get. i'd say their stuff is about on par with Spikes or BCM, just dressed up. i eventually sold the lower and got a lancer lower instead, but the BRO rifle shouldn't let your buddy down!

My better half had a fit for the BRO-PG3 (skull pattern with spiral fluted barrel) so I gave her one for our anniversary last year. It’s a little gaudy but it shoots great and the workmanship is top notch. I have not kept count, but I guess it probably had somewhere over a 1,000 rounds through it without a single issue.

I didn't ask what he paid for it. He's pleased as punch and he already got his 10 Pmags plus the one that came with the rifle.
