The following is excerpted from Wayne LaPierr's Standing Guard piece, June issue of American Rifleman. "In the coming months we must work together-one-on-one-convincing friends and neighbors that the Clinton gun ban (assault weapons ban) is not about somebody else, it's about each of us and all of us." While I never particularly cared for La Pierre, he has a point there, especially if one reads the article and or remembers the comments offered by "Lady Di", and others of similar inclination and ilk.
By the bye, I've been a Life Member of NRA since 1973 and was a five year and annual member prior to that. While I have often wondered as to what it was or might be that "winds up NRA", or doesn't, something that has caused serious losses to our side, they are NOT without value and worth, so I suggest that those who see the foregoing to take the time to read and to consider La Pierr's comments. They should also remember that all that foolishness about "nobody is going to bother me, or my pet shotgun, I'm a trap shooter, it's those dirty pistol shooters that cause all the trouble", and or any of the several variations on that theme, are patent nonsense. You haven't forgotten Lady Di, have you?
Thanks for your time, effort and attention.
