I sometimes wonder who or what it is that winds the NRA up. Also, I'm not an especially big fan of Wayne LaPierre. Having said that, I got the December issue of American Rifleman today, and have read a couple of articles therein.

One that particularly caught my eye was Standing Guard, by Wayne LaPierre, his stuff appears each month. Re his comments, read them for yourself, the following thoughts present themselves. Every gun owner in this country, NRA member of otherwise, needs to read this article, and think about what it says.

It speaks to affairs and situations that exist in Great Britain, a foreign country, notwithstanding the relationships and history that we and they have in common. The rest of the article speaks to this country, and it's citizens, in particularly those who are concerned with individual liberties, and the maintaining thereof.

Given that it is likely time for me to shut up, I will, right now, adding only the following. Read the article, and think about what it says.
