To honor victims?

Come on.:barf:

This is first-class victim worship. Idolize and enshrine the weak, so you can make more people weak, so they can become victims. It's a self-feeding machine and it started with the west's basic misunderstanding behind Ghandi's movement in India. MLK made it even worse, and the enshrinement of his death into a national holiday made it even worse yet.

Neo-nazis complaining about MLK in general, go somewhere else, but I think the passive-resistance crowd is killing america.

Yeah, i just had the pleasure on Fox actually, made my blood boil as well when he said "they were in the wrong place at the wrong time". Er, no Mr. Bush they were in the right place at the right time, it`s just that someone come in and shot them, grrrrr:fire: .

Or it could just be paying respect to lives ended prematurely and unjustly, and giving some measure of comfort to their families.

And I don't know about you, but anyplace where I'm getting shot at is, by definition, the wrong place.

.

"Honor" was clearly a poor choice of words for this case. "Mourn" might
have been more appropriate. Also, I couldn't give a single **** what
the chimp-in-chief does with regard to this case.

Come on guys, he is just trying to honor the lives who lost them far too soon.

Whatever your thoughts, pay the dead respect.

I just watched the Convocation at Tech. I thought it was moving, appropriate, meaningful and well done..,unlike some of the above posts.
Go Hokies.
