Front sight adjustment on 1873 Trapdoor Springfield

I have an original Springfield Trapdoor that I would like to adjust the front sight on. The rear sight is not adjustible for windage in the set battle field position out to 260 yards.

I have attached a picture of a typical 100 yard target with this rifle, I believe 4 MOA is acceptable for this rifle and my shooting ability but I would like the group to be centered above the POA.

Is it possible to adjust the front sight and still keep the rifle original, I am okay with taking to a gunsmith if needed.

No. The front sight base is welded on to the barrel.
