Sunday afternoon I went to the range with some friends and man was it fun.
I got to shoot an AR for the first time, they are fun to shoot but the percusion from them when your not the one shooting it is punishing . The guy that owned the AR also had a spinning steel target for handguns and was demonstrating how is would punch holes through it 
The lady of the group brought her Barretta Neos and that thing was just fun, we would set up aluminum can and see how fast we could knock them down. I got the chance to shoot my friends new Bersa 9mm. We put about 75 rounds through it without one malfuntion, the trigger on it was good, the sites where a little big, but they were easy to line up,but I am kinda wondering how the finish is going to hold up. I think the compact line of Bersas will become as popular as the Bersa thunder. I also got to shoot one of the guys Glock 23c, I have to say I kinda liked it. I don't think the ports did anything for recoil, at least no more than the low boro axis on my Steyr M40, by the way I let him shoot my M40 and he loved the sites Towards the end we through out about 5 golfballs and started using those as targets, I'd have to say they are as fun as bowling pins but they don't last as long. The AR would just blow them apart, but the .22 rounds would get stuck in them. All in all it was a fun day, now I just need to gt a membership to the range so I can go whenever I want to
