This is the first military rifle i have ever bought. I got it because i wanted to convert a Mauser to 35 whelen. I was offer a barreled action at the neighborhood flea market he said it was sporterized and that I should meet up with him some where so i could look at it . So when i first saw the rifle i thought the gun was a little to rough for a fine sporter. but then i saw it was nazi stamped and was a g.24(t) I thought it meant be a rare German police or mountain type rifle has i could see that the belt bolt was factory. So i paid him a good bit of my lawn mowing money but after looking online I think I did OK on it. I found out it was the same has the vz-24 so i purchased a vz-24 stock just to get it and going and see if it worked. After doing some research i found that my g.24 is a bit unusual has it has a bent bolt. Also the barrel and receiver match but the bolt does not so maybe the bolt was add later in the war? But is rifle was brought back by the mans father so i think the bolt replacement was a wartime modification......(maybe transition model) I was wondering your opinions on this and a rough value for my rifle.

forgot to mention its DOU 42 23XX. bolt is made up of different numbers
