Two years ago I purchased a G-Code Holster for my G23 and one of their double magazine holster to go with it. This was my 24/7 carry holster and the rig I also used when teaching class. For two years of non stop carry and various basic pistol/PPC classes, the holster worked like a charm and never malfunctioned in any way. However 2 months ago the 15 degree paddle cracked off at the base. What a bummer, because as we all know, paddle holsters are pretty useless without a paddle.

For the next month I tried to get G-Code to back their lifetime warrantee, to no avail. No answer to any of my repeated email requests. Finally I contacted GunnersAlley.com whom I originally purchased the holsters from. Within 30 minutes (after hours mind you!) I had a response from them apologizing for the lack of response from G-Code and promising a replacement part. Within 1 week I had my new paddle on my holster and was back in business.

G-Codes are great holsters and I will continue to purchase and use them. However do not count on them for service or warrantee. You should purchase them from a reputable dealer who will back them, like Gunnersalley did for me. I don't think I will purchase another holster from anyone else but them. Customer service like that is worth more than any advertising a company could purchase.

I've dealt with GunnersAlley before, too. Definately top notch, great bunch of folks there.

swingcatt,

Scott Evans, who is a moderator here and at The Firing Line, is associated with G-Code. Try dropping him a PM. I'd bet he'll do what ever he can to make it right for you, and he'd likely be interested in hearing of the problem you experienced.

:)

Thanks Spin. Scott was the one I emailed. As a matter of fact, of all the emails I had for people at Edge Works, his was the only one that didn't bounce back. I guess if no one else is there, he's probably a pretty busy man!!

G-Code holsters are good holsters, my post wasn't meant to degrade them, because I will certainly own more when my Glock finally wears out. My post was just meant to praise the good service of GunnersAlley and relate my experience with them.

Hope no one takes it as anything else. SC
