I have heard both sides of the story about carry gun modifications. So the question of the day, and probably beaten to death, is:

Is it a good idea to modify a carry gun, like with a ghost trigger setup? God forbid ever using it, would the court system be able to use this against in a real self defense situation? A "hair trigger"? I already have Trijicon HD sights on it.

No idea if modifying one's carry gun is a good or bad thing. Personally I do not like the 'Target Trigger' Glock has to put on their sub compact pistol to pass enough points for importation. So, I installed a smooth faced trigger, like you'll find on the full sized firearms available from Glock.

There is another forum topic that is covering the same points.
In general I think you can change or modify a few things on a Glock 26 9x19mm but I would not have a 3.0/3.5lb target trigger or hang a lot of crazy add-ons to the Glock 26.
The late author & gun-writer; Robert Boatman, www.BoatmanBooks.com advised using a factory stock Glock. He used a 36 .45acp in a shoulder rig. ;)
His son Morgan's www.customizeyourglock.com is a great resource for any Glock owner or CCW license holder/armed officer. Boatman has the sites shut down but they should be up again very soon.

Some advise good steel night sights for carry/duty Glocks & others suggest the NY-1 trigger. I own a Glock 21 gen 04. I plan to keep the trigger stock for now but may have a local Glock armorer do a NY-1 trigger later.
