What year did you renew in? It was taking longer than that right after Georgia changed the requirements for renewal in order to comply with exception to ATF rules for instant background checks to buy a gun.

The Georgia legislature needs to take CCW licensing away from the judges. Here in Texas the Department of Public Safety (state police) issues our licenses.
