Can anybody here comment on the Galco Classic Lite shoulder holster?

I have trouble cinching up a belt to support any bigger weapon than my Keltec plastic .32 and was thinking about trying a shoulder holster. This one seems lighter in weight than the Miami Classic et al and is the nearest thing I can find to the 1970s Rogers shoulder rig.
For "part time carry" they say, which is pretty much my case.

I purchased the galco classic lite for my Glock 26 and found it worked just fine. It is comfortable and functional. I found it caused quite a bit of holster wear on the pistol itself and it never sat quite where I wanted it when wearing it. That could be in part due to my broad shoulders. I really wanted to like wearing it but found it very slow to draw and that it was never quit what I had hoped. The quality of the rig was very good. It just never fit me quite the way I had hoped. I have since returned to belt carry and spent money on a beltman belt and a couple of wilderness tactical belts. That has made all the difference in the world. Just my two cents. YMMV. Hope this helps.

What kind of belt are you using? A proper gun belt would be cheaper and more useful than a shoulder holster.

Wilderness Instructor and Frequent Flyer; common recommendations for the purpose.
Fine for a half day of IDPA with Perry Suspenders, but not an all day rig.

Well then we've found the root of your problem. Sounds like its time to find something comfortable for all day carry.

Besides, I'm not sure where you live, but I can't imagine a shoulder rig being comfortable or very concealable in the summer.

I live in Alabama and was kind of hoping for a light shoulder rig to wear under an aloha shirt in summer.

I guess I could just get several more Keltecs and carry them in hat, sleeve, pocket, etc., like Yancey Derringer.

I have one for my kahr CW9 and find it very comfortable and a pleasure to wear during jacket weather. The leather is kind of rubbery and can pull on hair so it helps to wear a collared shirt.

Hey, if you think you can bear it, go fir it! Worst case scenario, you've got a shoulder holster for the colder months.

Seems more expensive than just buying a good gun belt, but any excuse to buy new guns works for me!

What is a "good gun belt" that the Wilderness does not qualify for?
What relieves it of having to be cinched up too tight for comfort on MY anatomy?

I'd like a shoulder rig I could just put on like a garment, pull a light concealment garment (aloha or guyabera shirt in summer) and go.
I fondly recall the old Rogers shoulder holster with nylon harness and thin but hard boned leather holster. Light and comfy... and no longer made.

I've never messed with the web style gun belts, but you shouldn't have to cinch it super tight. You should have it cinched comfortably, and it shouldn't sag. The thickness and sturdiness of it keep it up, not it being as tight as possible.

Try www.barsonyholstersandbelts.com They have many models reasonably priced. My winter CC rig for my bicycle is one of their nylon 'classic miami' style. The holster itself is vertical as it allows me to ride in a bent over position w/o having to secure my CC piece w/a strap. They have different sized holsters according to your CP and the shoulder assemblies themselves go from xs to xxxl. Very comfortable. My rt commute is 2+ hours per day and I'm never uncomfortable.
