Hey guys, I recently inherited a Gallager Saddlering Carbine .50 caliber.
It is in fairly bad shape, some screws are loose, the stock is cracked behind the hammer, the rear sight is missing, and the front half seems like it is barely staying together with the back half.
However, it is still functioning correctly, and the bore looks quite nice. The wood has a nice, dark color to it and the trap door in the stock (if that is what it is called) is still present and working perfectly.
It seems to have a fairly low serial number (around the 3,500 mark). Does anyone know what these things sell for on the low end?
