My dad has a revolver that is a Renato Gamba in .32 S&W Long. I think he bought it about twenty years ago, but i could be wrong. It is a six-shooter with a short barrel (2'' maybe). To load, you have to unscrew what looks like an ejector rod to swing out the cylinder. For ejection, you have to use the "ejector rod" to ram out the spent cartridges. After a few cylinders of ammo it tightens up extremely and is pretty much impossible to shoot it DA. It also has a really high DA trigger pull even when it has not been fired. Does anyone know anything about a Gamba revolver like the one described above, and what its value might be today?

I think that's the company the grips say RG on them and I think Renato Gamba is written on the sideplate.
I think he traded a compound bow for it. Bought it as a HD gun. It's a cheap piece of crap.

Wait an RG might be from RG industries which stood for Rohm Ghamn (not sure if that is spelled right). They are cheap pieces of junk and probably not a Gamba. If it has a cheap plastic grip with an RG, then you got a cheap saturday night special, tens of thousand were made and today they are worth less than $80. Sorry. Check the thread below for a better explaination.

RG are cheap but its not the end of the world, its still worth a little money, and if you keep it you can fool around with it at the range. Shoot it until it breaks.

Thanks it probably is a Rohm Gahmn. It's got cheap plastic grips on it marker RG. Still its the most powerful HD gun we got besides my Beretta 20 Ga Urika with a 30'' barrel-not the most pratical HD gun.
