It’s deadly on night time Rats @ 6-7 yards. I’ve installed a red lens, on @ dark light to illuminate the target area in the Sunflower bird feeder.

I recently picked up an old one. Fun gun to shoot, and surprisingly accurate with the pellet adapter. I put a vortek spring and seal in it, currently experimenting with reloaded shot shells. Mine had a scope on it when I received it, but I've only shot it with the bead site.
I had looked at these when they first came out 15+ years ago and thought it was stupid. But I was wrong it's a fun gun. Was going to purchase a new one but they are out of stock everywhere, I emailed Gamo and asked them if they were going to build some in the near future. They responded and said they have no plans to produce any at this time.
I'll have to check out that site you installed, looks like fun.

Has anyone shot this gun with round ball? I would think it should hit hard. The Gamo .22 round balls seem to be out of stock. Thinking maybe a shot size F mold might work to make some, but not sure if it's worth it.

Well apparently Gamo CS doesn't know what they are making. These are now in stock at several online airgun sites.
I ordered one from pyramid air. Just arrived. Trigger is plastic, breech seal is a little different than the one that is in the 2006 version. There is a small plastic rise at the rear of the barrel rib. Other than that it seems the same.
