I got a Geissele SD-3G for Christmas and tried it out in my Palmetto State Armory mock Dissipator, which had a terrible, crunchy, creepy, heavy 7+ pound trigger (PSA LPK). Video below for any interested, but the short story is the Geissele is frickin' amazing. 3 lb break (with the lighter of two trigger springs they include) and verrryyy smooooooth. Reset is short and very positive. Flat trigger bow will take some getting used to but it feels very precise.

The 3G trigger is a bit strange by comparison to standard single-stage or double-stage AR triggers: there is a small amount of takeup but it's not really takeup because there's no wall or second stage. You just press through that very short, extremely smooth movement and the trigger breaks, maybe 1/64" total movement before the break, and then very little overtravel and a super quick reset.

Both I and my brother liked it a great deal from the first shot fired. I believe I've heard somewhere that the break on this is like snapping a carrot (rather than the proverbial "glass rod") because there's a bit of flex before it snaps. Concept is perhaps a little unorthodox but there's no denying the results.

I did some double-taps with the OEM PSA trigger and then with the SD-3G and the Geissele was very noticeably quicker even in the hands of an amateur like myself. So now I can miss a lot quicker in 3-gun matches. LOL :D
