I built this Gemmer percussion pistol this summer and just finished it.

It has a 57 caliber barrel, walnut stock with pewter nose cap. I rust blued the metal.

Shoots good with 30 grains of 3f and a .555 round ball with a thick patch.

What do you think?

Was it done from a kit, or did you whittle all your own parts?
If it's a kit, it's about the nicest one I've seen.
Just kidding about the whittling.
Not that some folks are't capable.
 
Thank you for the responses. The stock and barrel I believe are from an old parts set from the 70's or 80's. The rest of the parts are just some that I accumulated over the years with the intent to build a pistol.
