GeorgiaCarry.Org cordially invites you to its Summer Luncheon/Auction/Skeet Shoot on Saturday, August 18, 2007 11:30 -2:00.

Atlanta, Georgia 30339

Representative Timothy Bearden, District 68, will be speaking on “How to Win Friends and Influence Legislation in the General Assembly.” Rep. Bearden is the author of HB 89 (concealed car carry bill) and a cosponsor of HB 850 (bill to shorten the timeline for issuing firearms licenses). Rep. Bearden also sits on the powerful Judiciary Non-Civil Committee, which is the committee in the House through which all pro-gun bills must pass. This is an event not to be missed for those who are hoping to make a difference in the 2008 session of the Georgia General Assembly.

The luncheon will be held in the Cabaret Room. Seating begins at 11:30, and lunch will be served promptly at noon.

Immediately following lunch there will be a live auction. This live auction event will feature an assortment of great items listed at the GCO website, and proceeds from this event will go directly into GCO’s operating funds to help preserve and expand Georgia citizens’ firearms rights so be sure to come ready to bid!

Following the live auction those so inclined will adjourn to the Tom Lowe Shooting Grounds at 3070 Merk Rd SW. Atlanta, GA 30349 for an enjoyable afternoon of friendly Skeet shooting and camaraderie.

While membership in GCO is highly encouraged, this event is open to non-members as well. Prior registration is required. Please RSVP by August 9, 2007 at this link.

Forgot to add that there will be a special drawing for a very desirable prize that will awarded to one lucky person in attendance. Also, there will be an additional drawing for a second door prize that will be drawn from the folks in attendance who are wearing GCO t-shirts!(available at the GCO Gear Shop)

So, while you’re doing the right thing and showing up in a demonstration of support and dedication, you can also win some really great stuff!

This is one meeting that you don't want to miss if you are a resident of Georgia and are a GFL holder.

Definitely Attending, we need to get some legislation going to fix the Public Gathering law and the prohibition on carrying in any establishment that serves alcohol.

Good to see the interest is here! :D

If your from Georgia and not already a member of GCO it only takes a few minutes and clicks of the mouse to correct that!

1- Hard for a kid to be cool when dad showings at the dorm on thier first day of college...
2- SC does not recognise a GFL so why go there to shoot...:fire:
3- No conflict now, see you at lunch! :D

Only if your a girl... :neener:

Seriously though, the dress code is business casual with the exception being for members wearing GCO T-Shirts so I would think a summer dress would be fine. By the way, check out the thread about GCO's latest victory in the activisim topic... :D
