Geraldo's Loose Lips take a hit

Per that paragon of truth Reuters:

"He was with a (U.S.) military unit in the field and the commander felt that he had compromised operational information by reporting the position and movements of troops," Pentagon spokesman Bryan Whitman told Reuters.

"The commander thought it best to get the reporter out of his battle space and we understand he is being removed from Iraq," Whitman said.

FWIW

Geraldo was on Bill O'Reilley radio show at noon today, claims there is no truth to the story, that it was fabricated as an attack on him.

Just did a quick search on both CNN.com and Foxnews.com, and can't seem to find ANY story about this, either confirming or denying.

frag him.
"now heraldo , we might get into some heavy stuff so i want you to know how this grenade works. you pull this pin and throw it as far as you can then run w/ the grenade and shout " i'm a little schoolboy".

Early this morning, Fox talking head (they all sound alike to me) apologised for calling Geraldo an "embedded" reporter. Seems he is NOT assigned to the 101st, he is merely hitchhiking! Seriously.

I used to let Geraldo piss me off. He is there, with our people and he supports them. He is doing a good job. I saw the sand map thing. Everyrthing he said was said by someone else, except on a real map.
Geraldos OK.

ooops just read this....
WASHINGTON (March 31) - Veteran reporter and former talk show host Geraldo Rivera, a correspondent for Fox News, was asked to be removed from Iraq by the U.S. military for reporting Western troop movements in the war, the Pentagon said Monday.

I saw the original report early this morning and it made me rather uncomfortable. I think that this guy's ego gets in his way. He is one of the most entertaining reporters, but sometimes he should just put a cork in it.

On the other hand, he is not Arnett, who is intentionally damaging to our efforts.
