I just visited one of my local knife stores today and bought a Gerber Fatty (partially serrated) for $9.99. This little knife caught my attention:what: and I figured for $10 bucks:rolleyes: it's basically disposable (not that I'm going to throw it away).

It feels solid. There's no wiggle when it's locked. The handles are are nylon covered by a soft rubberized grip with checkering. The blade is short (2.28 in) and stout. The handle is approx 3.5 inches and it weighs 2.8 oz. The clip feels solid but it's removeable. There are thumb studs on both sides of the knife.

Does anyone else own this? What are your thoughts on this knife?

I bought one awhile back at wal-mart. I bought it along with three others, it was an impulse buy. Kind of the same as you, it just caught my eye and i said, "what the heck". I paid $20 for mine, so $9.99 brand new isn't bad. I have to say, its the least favorite of the 3 i bought, but it is a decent little knife for the price. I keep mine in the car. Seems pretty rugged. Definatley cant go wrong for $10!

the other two knives i bought were a CRKT M16Z and a Kershaw "Blur" which is an assisted opening, partially serrated tanto style. The CRKT is a partially serrated spear point. The Kershaw was awesome. Extremely sharp knife, opened incredibly fast. Then I lost it. I want to buy another one.
