I cable mine to the tree.

And seeing's how I've confiscated a couple over the years from tresspassers on my land- if someone wants one of mine more than me, I'm not gonna lose sleep over it.

But if one was really into it, they could go this route.

I've actually got a stand that's been on the same tree for 3 or 4 years now- 24/7. I know both deer and coon hunters have seen it, I figure no one really wants to tote cable cutters in the woods to get it.

You may win a Darwin Award for that one....any idea how many security cameras are used at gas stations and Walmarts?, be sure to smile and wave.....
 
Georgia law, where the OP lives, seems to require them to be placed on public land the day prior to the hunt, and removed by noon the next day following the hunt.



rcmodel is right. How long was your stand on WMA? :uhoh:
