I'm not very accurate with my new P226 MK25 9mm, and I seem to shoot other pistols better. My uncle has a CZ 9mm (not sure exactly what model) and I shot it better than my P226. I also shot his Taurus 9mm, a Taurus 1911 .45, as well as his Kimber .45 compact carry. I shot them all better than my Sig, except for the Kimber because it was a bit tiny and that was my first time shooting a tiny little carry gun. I'm hoping the E2 grip will help, but I just can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Maybe it is the fact that the trigger has some "stack" when in single action before you get to the breaking point, then once you meet the breaking point, it is just a bit more tension before the hammer drops. I wish it went straight to the breaking point without the play beforehand. I also have small to medium sized hands so hopefully the E2 grip will help, but I'm not expecting it to be a drastic change that is going to make me that much better just because I changed the grips.
I think I'm going to rent a S&W M&P during my trip to the range this week and see how that fares for me. I've heard good things about it and I'm wondering if the lighter weight pistol will shoot better for me. I will repost my comparisons between the p226 and m&P.
