ghost ring sight compatiblity question (MMC / LPA / Trac loc)

I have a ghost ring MMC sight set on my Remington 870P with a Vang Comp barrel. This set up works great.

The new role my 870 will play will not permit ports in the barrel, so I have ordered a brand new barrel to put on my old 870P.

I would like to put a compatible front sight on the new barrel. Do I need to use a MMC front to pair it with the existing rear sight, or can I use another brand such as scattergun's trac-loc or LPA?

Are the front sights on each respective brand the same height?

Any help would be appreciated.

Why not just ask Hans? Might be he can fix you up with a non-ported barrel with a compatible front sight, perhaps on a swap for the one you have on order.
