These aren't for sale...I wanted to put a picture up for you to take a look at and give some feedback. Positive or negative, please comment. These aren't for sale, I just want to know what you think--good or bad--and why. Any feedback's appreciated. Both are crosscut with a border stamp. Hermann Oak premium leather--tanned in the USA--dual-layer/doubled and stitched with solid brass buckles and Chicago screws. Both 1 1/2" in width, and 1/4" thick. The top one is black cherry, and the bottom is black.

Very nice. Beautiful workmanship.

A bit pricey for my needs (I checked the link), but I'd be happy to use the black one for a BBQ gun rig. I'm sure a lot of other folks would too.

I'd offer the customer his/her choice of buckle color (brass or white brass?/nickel?).

I'd offer the same belt in a female width (say...1") and a lighter weight buckle. I guess it might be hard to get the required stiffness at that width...maybe sew in a nylon stiffener.

I'd offer as a matched his/her couple's belt/holster set.

I know nothing about making good leather gear and you (obviously) do.

Thanks for the pic and definitely added to my vendor's bookmarks.

You are welcome.

BTW: That photo is great, leaving no doubt about the quality of what is depicted.
My single biggest gripe when shopping on-line is a poor quality picture that leave a shopper with more questions than answers.

Put that picture up on your website and folks will buy. When I look at that photo, I can almost feel the belt...

They both look really nice. I agree about quality photography showing off true quality craftsmanship. They're a bit flashy/fancy for my style though. Simply a brass buckle and brushed silver buckle might tame either down enough that I'd think I could pull one off.

I agree with the others, those look like awesome belts. I really like them because most leather gun belts I have come across are rather plain in terms of design. The patterns on the ones you are showing here really add some character and class.

Thank you. They're a little different. The only one I know of that does something similar is Will Tucker at www.TuckerGunleather.com. The market appeal for stamping and carving is somewhat limited, but we all make plain belts, too. I sure do appreciate the input--thank you all for taking the time.

I also went to your links. I don't have a problem with the price at all. Seems to me that it is commensurate with the apparent quality of the leather work. Nice work.

Really nice work.

You might consider offering a wider variety of buckles. I prefer something a bit less "heavy". I like the belt showcased, and the buckle a bit less dominant.

I also like your treatment of the single holster I saw. It's not easy to find an beautifully embellished holster that is also functionally correct.
